My friend wrote a beautiful poem and I just wanted to share. Its powerful and very meaningful.

Father, forgive them;

For they know not what they do.

They plotted against me

For the things they believed they knew.

In the Garden, filled with Agony.

In Pain, I cried out.

If thou would be willing

Remove this cup from me.

My blood and sweat fell to the ground.

Deep in sorrow

An Angel came

And added strength was what I found.

Father, forgive them;

For they know not what they do.

I was dragged away, put on trial

For the hurtful lies they spew’d.

But when I was daily with them in the temple.

They stretched forth no HANDS

However, it was their HOUR

Where the ONLY permission they needed….was MAN

I was BETRAYED

THREE times DENIED

Left to hang on a cross

Only to be crucified.

Father, forgive them

For they know not what they do

They casted lots and mocked me

Telling me to come down and do what I do

I was pierced, beaten and tortured

Too blinded and filled with hate

For the only thing they sought

Was to socially MOTIVATE

My beliefs in their eyes were unjuss

Because they still cried out

“AWAY WITH THIS MAN”

And release us BARABBAS.

Father, forgive them

For they know not what they do

Generations will come

And still won’t understand the pain that I went through

NATIONS and NATIONS will rise

And my children will soon see

How my LOVE and BLOOD

Covered ALL of HUMANITY
