Beware: Why I had to return Garnier Whole Blends Products…

Deewatch Pure White

Hello friends,
gI recently had a conversation with my coworker about Garnier Whole Blends product line and was very excited to check it out. I went online checked out their commercial and right after ran to the store to purchase it. I purchased the Garnier Whole Blends Smoothing Shampoo with coconut oil and cocoa butter extracts which states it tames & controls frizzy hair. I also purchased the Garnier Whole Blends Smoothing Conditioner with coconut oil & cocoa butter extracts which also states that it tames & controls frizzy hair.

I woke up the next day ready to use the product and realized I didn’t check the ingredients.  I check the back of the shampoo bottle and was disappointed to find sodium laureth sulfate. Sulfates tend to strip hair of its natural oils leaving the hair feeling dry and brittle. Over time it can cause damage to the hair. Not all sulfates are bad sulfates but sodium laureth sulfate is an inexpensive cleaning agent which is harsh on natural hair.

The fact that the shampoo has sulfate in it completely turns me off. Im upset that I almost put that stuff in my hair. I’ve work so hard to keep my hair moisturized and healthy. I immediately ran to the store to return it. I felt so disappointed I decided to return both the shampoo and conditioner. I really really wanted to try it out but the risk is not worth it for me.

Maybe in the future I’ll try out their conditioners but as of right now I’m turned off.  One thing I’d like to say to Garnier is please change your shampoo’s formula, make it safe and make it so it promotes healthy and shiny hair.
